Living Sounds Hearing Centre Ltd. is a full service hearing health and communication provider where the physical and emotional health of our clients is central to our overall philosophy
Formed in 2002 by Greg Nedelec and Tim Goshulak, Living Sounds Hearing Centre Ltd. began with one clinic location at the LeMarchand Mansion in downtown Edmonton. Since then, the company has grown to become one of the largest hearing health centers in Alberta.
The rapid expansion of Living Sounds can be largely attributed to the hard work of everyone involved, combined with the acquisition of the Edmonton operations of Thibodeau’s Centre for Hearing Health & Communication on October 31, 2005.
Not only did Living Sounds acquire Thibodeau’s Edmonton operations, they also acquired the 60-year history of Thibodeau’s, a history that both owners were a large part of. Greg Nedelec and Tim Goshulak had a combined 36-year history with Thibodeau’s.
Today, Living Sounds Hearing Centre Ltd. is comprised of a number of Registered Hearing Aid Practitioners and an Audiologist who are focused on taking a personal approach to your hearing wellness. Plus, Living Sounds boasts one of the only in-house repair labs in Alberta.
With 11 locations, including five in Edmonton and clinics in Barrhead, Drayton Valley, Leduc, Stony Plain, Wetaskiwin, Vegreville and Fort Saskatchewan, clients from all over Edmonton and area can count on Living Sounds Hearing Centre Ltd. to listen.

Dr. Joseph. A. Kostiuk
Living Sounds is pleased to have Dr. Joseph. A. Kostiuk joining our dedicated group of hearing professionals.
As an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist with over 40 years experience in surgical ear repair, as an ear-specialist surgeon, Dr. Kostiuk brings with him an operating microscope. This is used to clear the ear canal of frequently shed skin, wax and, at times, other sound blockers, without surgery. Ear cleaning is much safer and more comfortable under magnification. Dr. Kostiuk has had a distinguished career to date as active staff at a major city hospital since 1971. He was a researcher, surgeon and director of the first Lions Bionic Ear program for Cochlear Implants in western Canada. He has traveled the world centres of cochlear implant technology.
Living Sounds, with our new addition, is proud to be your full-service hearing centre with the highest commitment to customer care.
