Giving Back to our Edmonton Community: The Ronald McDonald House
12Jun 2018

At Living Sounds we are like family. I can’t tell you how lucky I feel to be working with such passionate individuals that care so deeply about other people. It is a very rewarding job to be able to fit our clients with hearing aids and provide them with the gift of hearing. We feel fortunate to be able to make such a difference in our customer’s lives – each and every day.

We recently discussed ways where we could go one step further and give back to our community. There are so many organizations in Edmonton that need a helping hand, so we decided to gather our team together and volunteer at an organization that’s close to our hearts, The Ronald McDonald House.

The Ronald McDonald House brings together families of hospitalized children undergoing medical treatment, and allows them all to sleep under one roof as a cohesive unit. With the support and help from the community and volunteers, these families are able to focus their attention on their child. With a meal and a place to stay taken care of, they have one less thing to worry about during such a difficult time. We were able to supply two meals to these families and are hopeful we were able to make a positive impact on their lives. The experience was very humbling and we are grateful to have had the opportunity.

At Living Sounds Hearing Centre we care about the people we serve and about our community. We encourage our customers to volunteer and give back to the Edmonton community as well!
