Living Sounds Hearing Centre is often synonymous with just selling hearing aids and providing audiology testing to Northern Alberta. In reality, we actually offer a wide range of services and products such as Assisted Listening Devices, ear wax removal, audiometric assessments and custom earplugs to meet your individual hearing needs.
Our Assisted Listening Devices help people who have difficulty with hearing but may not need hearing aids. These products include amplified corded or cordless telephones, home alerting systems, amplified alarm clocks, and devices to help you listen to the television.
Whether you are at work or play, exposure to excessive noisy environments can seriously damage your hearing and increase your risk of other health concerns. For example, if you’re a frequent concertgoer, work on a noisy job site, or live with a partner that snores, a pair of our custom earplugs with the latest noise-reducing technology can make all the difference to improving your life and saving your hearing.
One of the most common causes of hearing loss is a blockage from excessive ear wax. We can also safely and gently remove cerumen (ear wax) by various techniques including irrigation, suction and careful extraction.
